UDUKHOTSE FOUNDATION
…2021 Annual Report

Happy New Year to our associates, friends, supporters, etc who started with us since the establishment of the Foundation in 2015.

We at Udukhotse Foundation is delighted to report our activities from January to December 2021, for official purpose.

With the COVID-19 pandemic that came with devastating health, psychological, mental, physical and economic effects, we thought we were going to be limited in some areas of operations in 2021 but with much determination we did more than previous years.

We have a mandate not to advertise everything we do in photographs and to talk about our activities devoid of mention of names most times. But some photographs of event can be found in our website www.udufoundation.com.org.

Our passion for the Physically Challenged Persons, Elderly People, the Vulnerable Ones and young Adults / Students is undescribable. We can not give up on this cadre of Citizens.

In the past few Months in 2021 we visited elderly persons in various states, while we were not able to visit a few we promised, quite a number of them passed away to various illnesses but we thank God for lives well spent, and we will miss them. We cherish moments and prayer sessions we shared. During the Christmas Holidays we visited about 30 Homes to check on either an elder, young adult, physically challenged, student, etc

We have given cash gifts to various categories of people; women who were indebted, young adults in school, through the Club we have supported the students on creativity, we have supported medications at various times to those who could not afford it, several women have been encouraged to start up a business and they are doing well, we have supported children and paid school fees, etc in our little capacity, it is our culture and a way of showing love to humanity.

We have supported processes, associations and outfits and these processes yeilded positive outcomes and we at the Foundation also benefited…we received several accolades, recognitions, rewards and gifts that we in return gave back to Humanity.

We have also given moral support to those who needed it and came across us, many are doing well and stable in their various endeavours, we encouraged many female entrepreneurs on Consistency, we have done several monitoring and evaluations.

We also have given voices to many, both the boy child and girl child, we advocated uncountable causes and added our voice to others to curbing some ills flooding the larger space – society.

In October 2021 we sourced for N1.000.000,000 to support various women who were in financial distress; we supported and partnered young charity-based Organizations in their various outreaches with cash, all kinds of materials, vehicles, food etc, this is because, in Charity work we believe in team inputs, those we could not support financially were given moral support and prayers. In return, others partnered us by giving us supports.

We gave food items out to families, both in the Nation’s capital and in Edo State during the Christmas Season. We gave out wrappers to staff of various organizations, including the Hospital and Orphanage Homes, and we are glade we did.

On the 29th and 30th December, through our love for creativity, we had a robust retreat with members of the Authors in School Creative Club, and it was a successful one, during the retreat, we visited an Orphanage Home, Hospital, Library to encourage Reading culture, and we engaged in street sharing of Books, and members were glade they did.

Also through the Club we organized the 2021 Chief Richard Lamai Competition, and winners have been awarded their prizes, we appreciate the panel of Judges and Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abuja Council for being objective to award marks to deserving participants.

This 2021 second edition  was made public, so the public benefited too by receiving consolation prizes.

We embarked on a one week school tour in November 2021, we distributed writing materials and renewed our relationships with schools we did not visit during the COVID-19 pandemic and it was successful.

The Club established partly by the Foundation was active throughout the year and serious business young men and women in school were raised.

We thank our supporters and sponsors for believing in us.

By the Special Grace of God we shall do better in 2022.

Happy New Year Once Again.

We Aid! In various ways!
