Chief Richard Lamai Essay Contest: calls for submission

Authors in School Creative Club is a subsidiary of Udukhotse Foundation that nurtures young minds and students in creativity.
 
It has called for submissions into the 2020 edition of Chief Richard Lamai Prize for Essay Contest for both national level and secondary school chapters categories.
 
The submissions, according to the organisers, had opened on 1st November and would be closed on 10th December.The theme of this year’s contest for the National Level is: ‘Youth Arise: Rediscovering the Nigeria of Our Dream’.The entries, according to the organisers, should not be more than 1000 words. The organisers disclosed that overall winner would go home with a cash prize of N50,000 while the first and second runners-up would get N30,000 and N15,000 respectively. 
 
While the theme of the secondary school category is ‘If I were governor for a year’.The entries in this category are expected to be not less than 450 words. In this category, the prize for the winner would be N30,000 while the 1st and 2nd runners-up would clinch N15,000 and N10,000 respectively.
 
While entries are to be  forwarded to aiscreativeclub18@gmail.com on or before the closing date, the organisers added that other entries in both categories would also get consolation prizes at the end of the contest.
 
“Every judgment is strictly on merit to represent the theme” Organizers expressed.
